TRUE METRIX Troubleshooting
The TRUE METRIX Self-Monitoring Blood Glucose System is intended for self-testing outside the body (in vitro diagnostic use).
To assure you are getting accurate and reliable results, you can perform a Control Test ( Refer to Owner’s Booklet ).
If an error message appears in the Display, please see troubleshooting errors below or call 1-800-803-6025 for assistance.
WARNING
WHEN SHOULD YOU CONTACT YOUR DOCTOR OR HEALTHCARE PROFESSIONAL?
- If you are experiencing any hyperglycemic symptoms such as fatigue, excess urination, thirst, or blurred vision
- If you are experiencing any hypoglycemic symptoms such as shakiness, dizziness, blurred vision, hunger, weakness, or sweatiness

E-0
The system will trigger an E-0 error message if the system detects hematocrit result is < 20% or > 70%

E-2
The system will trigger an E-2 error message if the sample is not detected or Wrong Test Strip is being used.

E-3
The system will trigger an E-3 error message if the meter detects the test strips are compromised.

E-5
The system displays E-5 error code when there is a test strip error.

EHi
The system will trigger an EHi error message if the meter detects blood glucose results greater than 900mg/dL

Hi
The system will trigger a Hi error message if the meter detects blood glucose results greater than 600mg/dL

Lo
The system will trigger a Lo error message if the meter detects blood glucose results less than 20mg/dL.
Additional Troubleshooting Tips

Erratic Blood Results
The meter may display erratic blood results if blood tests are not performed correctly.

Meter To Meter Comparison
DO NOT perform meter to meter comparisons; test results from your meter should only be compared to laboratory equipment.

Does not turn on with strip
Meter does not power on with a test strip insertion or by pressing the power button.
